St. Joseph’s (Kentville, NS) CWL hosted Our Lady of Good Counsel Celebration on April 25, and were joined by sisters in the League from three neighbouring Councils. The day opened with a Prayer Service, followed by a guided letter-writing /information session. Topics included Pornography, Aboriginal issues, Human Trafficking, as well as Euthanasia/assisted suicide. The day concluded with a time of fellowship enjoyed by all. St. Ambrose and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Weymouth, celebrate Our Lady of Good Council 2015. Maddison's mom, whose daughter was caught up in human trafficking and was killed in a car accident in Grande Prairie, Alberta was the guest speaker. Her personal experience knowing what her daughter lived and suffered as well as her own guilt on the matter, made the presentation very powerful
